Hi Everyone! On the second day it came out me and my friends went to go see the Hunger Games Movie! It was AMAZING! It was VERY CLOSE to the book. They did add in some behind the scenes stuff with the game makers which I loved!! The Only thing I will say is that i didn't particularly like their character portrayal. Like in the beginning the group who made an alliance were laughing while chasing Katniss, and I just though that it was more twisted than in the book. I also wished they played up Rue's flowers more though. I have to say though it was the best movie based off a book that I have ever seen! They showed districts 11's reaction after Rue's death which was probably my Favorite part of the movie! I also heard that they were splitting up the 3rd book into 2 movies, which I think is a good idea! But now for the important stuff..Peeta and Gale! Now I am of course team PEETA! What team are you on?? Post it in the comments section!
In this blog I post my opinion about books & movies that are based off books I've read or seen. I also have info on when books or movies premier.
This is my blog about the different types of books I read, mainly mystery, myths, and magic, and what I thought of them. I hope you like them, too.

The Kindle
Hello people of the 21st century! It's 2012 and although we don't have flying cars or teliportation devices, we are so high tech now that paper is becoming obsolete! This year for Christmas I got a kindle and I love it. I have the First Generation Kindle which looks like this.
It's great because it doesn't look like a screen. It really looks like paper which makes it easy to read. What's really cool is that I can zoom in on pictures so that they take up the whole screen! The first book I read on it was The 39 Clues: A King's Ransom and since that book has several pictures it came in handy. I can hold tons of books on it and can buy almost any book with just the click of a button! Also, books that are in the public domain are FREE! I got Edgar Allan Poe, The Three Muskateers, and Sherlock Holmes all on my kindle for free. The only problem is I'm having trouble finding a case. If anyone knows where I can get one, then please post it in the comments :-)

Academy 7
Hello everyone HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!! This officially the first post of 2012!! I'm reviewing a book today called Academy 7. This incredible syfy drama by Anne Osterlund was defiantly an enjoyable read. Although it was a little too dramatic for my taste. What I really enjoyed about this was that the syfy was really cool but NOT to far-fetched like some syfy stories can be. I loved the different characters personality and how their past fits into their present. Basically the story is about 2 people who, against all odds get into the best school in the galaxy. Together they need to let go of their pasts and move on to the future. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone under middle school because the violent descriptions.
That's all for now!
That's all for now!

Sherlock Holmes The Movie
Last night I went to see the new movie Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. It was absolutely AMAZING!! In this movie you start off about right where you left off. Watson is getting Married and Holmes is ecstatic about it (she typed sarcastically). Holmes of course is still tangled into finding the employer of Irene Adler (played by Rachel McAdams) and drags Watson into it. I loved the entire movie but I especially loved the twists that accured throughout the movie. While this was an incredible movie I didn't like the way they did the camera in this. In parts (especially the forest scene) it almost looked like they were standing still but the back drop was moving. I didn't mind when they would slow it down so Holmes could plan out his attack but they would also use slow motion in some of the most action packed parts. It also got a little corny at parts but that's not necessarily a bad thing. With the best heroes, deathly twists, and pigeon feeding bad guys, I think this is the best Sherlock Holmes movie yet!
